Mischa took over Central Masonry in 2020 after nearly two decades working alongside his father-in-law, Rick. Known for his artistic eye and dedication, he leads every project with precision and pride.

Rick founded Central Masonry in 1979 and built it into one of the most trusted masonry companies on Vancouver Island. A Red Seal bricklayer with over 50 years of experience, he now plays a quieter role, offering expert advice and mentorship.

Steve Rasmus
Mason
Steve began his career in masonry in Vancouver in 2002. Training under a team of masons on a wide variety of creative projects, he gained experience working with many different materials and styles.
With a strong work ethic, eye for detail, and a commitment to clean, high-quality workmanship, Steve completed his Red Seal apprenticeship and moved to the Comox Valley in 2006, where he continues to hone his skills up and down the coast and islands.
Steve has been a valued member of our team since 2014.
